Showroom Covid Policy Update 06/06/20

We temporarily closed our showroom on the 23rd March following the guidance from Government.

As the Government indicates that we should be able to re-open the showroom from the 15th June we would like to thank all our customers that have been so understanding whilst waiting for their new fireplaces.

We want to get the showroom open as soon as it is safe to do so. Fortunately, our staff and installers are reporting that they are safe and healthy and so we will be open, hopefully from the 15th June.

In addition to dealing with new enquiries and orders, we have been busy planning safe ways of seeing customers in our showroom again and of course making sure that our installers can work safely in the home too.

Showroom Visits

We have the benefit of a large and spacious showroom and to start with are now offering appointments so that we can keep social distancing. This gives you as a visitor to the showroom the chance to browse the full ranges and demonstration models in comfort. Please call or email for an appointment which will be spaced out during the day and there are also evening appointments available too.

Our new opening times at the Showroom are 10.00 AM – 4.00 PM Monday through Saturday

All door handles, stair rails, remote controls and card pin terminals are being regularly sanitised and cleaned and sanitiser gel is available as you walk into the showroom.

Home Visits

Where we make home visits for Surveys and Installations we are implementing strict guidelines for maintaining social distancing.

This could include a discussion, ahead of our visit, to make arrangements so that the 2m distance is maintained while working in your home. You could possibly leave your house or stay in another room while the work is being carried out.

Discussions between you and the engineer can take place outdoors or in a well-ventilated room.

  • Discussing with households ahead of a visit that a 2m distance is kept
  • Asking that households leave all internal doors open
  • Asking that a window to the outside is kept open to keep the workspace well ventilated
  • Using a consistent pairing system when we need 2 workers together
  • Allocating the same workers to a household where jobs need more than one visit

  • We have implemented social distancing protocols within our delivery stores, office and showroom.
  • Provided Hand Sanitiser dispensers
  • We have introduced protective measures such as enhanced cleaning schedules
  • Installers Vand and delivery vehicles are equipped with hand sanitiser and gloves
  • Placed extra signage in the showroom for customers and goods in
